FINAL In-Person

Yacht & Boat Bid Sale

Please carefully read the following information.

AVAILABLE FOR BIDDING

All available boats are published online.  The list of boats can be found by clicking on Available Vessels in the dropdown menu on the left. We will not answer questions about the vessels via telephone or email.

LISTED PRICES

The price listed with each vessel is either (1) the value determined by the Donor’s surveyor, or (2) the value determined by Massachusetts Maritime Academy based upon the boat’s current condition and in accordance with BUC and NADA valuation guides.  The listed price is one a buyer might expect to pay were they to purchase the vessel from an ordinary retail boat seller.  Although most of the vessels presented here for bidding do have an undisclosed reserve (the minimum amount for which the boat will be sold), the listed price is not the reserve.  The Academy publishes the listed prices simply to put all bidders on a level playing field, informing every bidder of the Academy’s estimated retail value of the vessel.  Bid whatever amount is appropriate for you.
