Position Overview
EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC is responsible for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the United States Army Corp. of Engineering (USACE) / Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) ORC contract groundwater treatment plants and associated infrastructure. This includes the treatment system process equipment and control systems; monitoring and sampling of water (plant and groundwater) to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and local regulatory standards. The “Start Up” projects range in size from 10-100 unit apartment communities with rehab budgets from $250,000 to $2M. These projects are typically 3-6 months and encompass the full reposition of both the interiors of apartments and the exteriors with a focus on curb appeal and onsite amenities. The range of trades includes Roofing, Asphalt, Painting, Solar PV, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Site work and Landscaping.

The District Operations Manager would lead and oversee the daily operation of both these two departments while also working with them to build out their skills and leadership within the teams.

Ensure throughout the portfolio the management of the water treatment programs (closed loop, condenser water, domestic water, and specialty lab/process water systems where applicable) with strong attention to system performance is being carried out

Operations, Inspections & Compliance
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly engineering rounds are completed, logged, and reviewed; verify meter readings, differential pressures, vibration/noise anomalies, and temperatures/humidity are within spec.
Enforce with all engineers, inspection calendars and documentation for boilers, pressure vessels, backflow preventers, fire/life safety, elevators, tanks, and air quality; ensure timely remediation of deficiencies.
