Requires travel from 25% - 50% per year.

Provides technical services and solutions to maritime and industrial customers. Has a well-rounded knowledge of marine engineering and naval architecture. Essential Job Functions:
· Has a well-rounded knowledge of marine engineering and naval architecture.
· Rotating equipment and alignment techniques.
· Good communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) that result in action being taken based on clear presentation of the facts.
· Perform repair, operational, environmental, condition monitoring and diagnostic tests of customer’s equipment as required within applicable standards.
· Apply engineering theory, practice and principles to perform root cause failure analysis, conduct equipment performance evaluations, analyze equipment trends, analyze historical data and uptime data to recommend and justify improvements and corrective measures to customer equipment if appropriate.
· Prepare technical reports per customer requirements.
· Interact competently and professionally with customers’ .
· Maintain contact with, and follow up with customers.
· Communicate repair issues and resolutions with management.
· Serve as a knowledgeable resource to assist in training personnel in reliability-related topics to maintain and enhance operations and company knowledge base.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Requires a Bachelors’ degree in Maritime Engineering &/or Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to rotating machinery diagnostics.
· Must have competency in the application of hardware/software essential in collection and interpretation and analysis of vibration data including data analysis techniques and statistical interpretation skills.
· Fundamentals of nondestructive testing including infrared thermography, motor current analysis, ultrasonic inspection.
· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
· Strength in analytical and problem solving skills with a passion for using math and engineering to execute analysis.
· Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships, and applications to understanding fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics, and mechanical structures and processes.
· Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
· Ability to thrive working in a team environment (a team player).
· Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
· Performing General Physical Activities — Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Must be able to pull, push and lift 50lbs.
· Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
· Willingness to work overtime/weekends
· Ability to travel domestic & international up to 25%-50%.

Computer Skills:
Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Applications, with excellent proficiency in Excel.

Licenses/Certificates:
Legally eligible to work in United States.
Requires a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record
Must have and maintain valid passport.
