Coastline Consulting & Development, LLC also specializes in General Contracting, implementation, and management of large scale dredging projects throughout New England. Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities:
The new role available at Coastline includes the development of AutoCad drafting drawings for regulatory permit applications for docks, seawalls, and dredging projects. This component of work is expected to comprise approximately 70% of the job. Drawings will typically originate from in-house surveys, be developed into existing conditions plan view drawings, proposed conditions plan view drawings, and finally representative cross-sections for various site activities. An understanding of coastal policies and regulations will be important in the development of plans to minimize environmental impacts. After a first draft, it is typical that a peer review will be conducted, and handwritten comments/edits will be provided for the preparation of a final draft. Attention to detail is important with this work. The software used for these drawings is AutoCad LT. Prior AutoCad experience would be a plus, but in-office training will be provided for learning the CAD software and company drafting standards.

The remaining 30% of this job will include assistance with fieldwork and assistance with vessel/shop maintenance. When required, the field work will include assisting the Coastline survey leads with Waterside Topographic Surveys, Single Beam Hydrographic Surveys, Multi Beam Hydrographic Surveys, and Marine Sediment Coring. The assistance will include trailering boats, launching boats, setting up survey equipment, and operating boats during the field days. Strong boating skills would be a plus for this part of the work. The vessel/shop maintenance will include both preventative work and repair work for all three company vessels, all three company trailers, and the survey/coring equipment as necessary. Being handy with this type of work would be a plus, but we also have local repair shops available for scheduled maintenance.

About the Program:

The Young Mariner Program is a STEM-focused, hands-on summer camp for students entering grades 4–7. Campers explore local marine science and coastal ecosystems while building confidence on the water through boating activities, fishing, lobstering, and beach exploration. Days are filled with a mix of on-water experiences and classroom-based STEM lessons and experiments, giving campers the chance to connect what they learn to the environment around them. Each week blends theme-based science content with hands-on exploration, encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.

The program runs for nine week-long sessions from late June through mid-August and is based at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum in Hyannis. Camp operates Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with counselors expected to work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Each session is limited to 12 campers.

Job Description:
The Young Mariner Program is seeking two counselors for the 2026 season: one boat-based counselor and one classroom-based counselor. As a Day Camp Counselor, you will lead and supervise campers in marine science and maritime activities while helping to create engaging, STEM-based learning experiences. Working closely with the Camp Director, Boat Captain, and the other counselor, you will help ensure a safe, positive, and fun environment both aboard our vessels and on land. The boat-based counselor will primarily support on-water activities, while the classroom-based counselor will lead land-based lessons and STEM programming.

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist the Boat Captain and Camp Director in leading activities both aboard vessels and on land.
● Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of campers at all times.
● Help manage camper groups and lead STEM-based marine science and maritime activities.
● Participate fully in all camp activities, including instruction and recreation.
● Support daily operations such as camper drop-off and pick-up, setup and cleanup, basic administrative tasks, and site maintenance.

Qualifications: Required:
● Candidates must be local to Cape Cod — housing and housing assistance are not provided.
● Knowledge of boating and comfort working on the water.
● CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before camp).
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Reliable transportation.
● Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, and to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Provide facility leadership and support in the areas of safety, health, and environmental compliance, including but not limited to permitting, workers' compensation, incident investigation, including root cause analysis, and inspections.
Develop and coordinate training on general safety procedures and programs including but not limited to: emergency response, LOTO, fall protection, respirator safety, confined space, PPE, PIVs, Hoist and Cranes, hazard communication, machine guarding and electrical safetyAnalyze, teach, and influence safety improvements and behaviors.
Own and manage EHS-related tasks and projects, including consultants.
Develop and serve as a mentor to the EHS champions at all levels in the facility.

Manage facility environmental permitting, air compliance, incident investigation, including root cause analysis, spill prevention plans, pollution prevention, hazardous waste, auditing, and environmental training to identify, assess, and reduce environmental risks and financial costs.
Manage compliance and keep up to date with environmental legislation and best practices.
Raise awareness, at all levels of our organization, of the impact of emerging safety and environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, corporate, ethical, and social responsibility.
Rigging and Crane Safety Oversight: Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols for all lifting operations involving overhead cranes, hoists, slings, and rigging gear. This includes managing inspection programs for all lifting equipment and ensuring compliance with OSHA rigging and crane standards.
Air Quality and Ventilation: Manage programs for air monitoring and ventilation systems (local exhaust ventilation) to control airborne contaminants, particularly respirable Hexavalent chromium, metal dust, fumes, and other process emissions, ensuring adherence to OSHA Permissible Exposure Limits (PELs).
Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs on general safety procedures, emergency response, and foundry-specific topics like heat stress prevention, noise control, and certified rigging and crane operator safety.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including those set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Qualifications, Skills and Educational Requirements

Preferred Four (4) year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent field of study is required; Master’s degree is a plus
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environmental, health, and safety setting
Professional certifications, such as CIH, CSP, ASP, CHMM, and/or PE, are strongly preferred
Comprehension of industry, local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety requirements/regulatory agencies

Through science-based decision-making, transparent governance, and collaborative partnerships, the Director administers all Division programs and activities in service to the public and in alignment with statutory authority under Chapters 21, 131, and 131A of the Massachusetts General Laws.

The Director engages regularly with the Commissioner, the Fisheries and Wildlife Board, Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) leadership, and stakeholders, responding to inquiries and ensuring that Division performance, reporting, and initiatives advance strategic priorities and accountability to the Commonwealth. The Director provides overall direction to the Deputy Director and senior leadership team responsible for core administrative and programmatic functions and engages with staff at various levels of the Division.

The Director also collaborates with federal and state agencies, EA programs including the Massachusetts Environmental Police, national and state conservation and sporting organizations, academic partners, and legislators to advance interagency initiatives, inform policy, integrate scientific research, and promote effective wildlife conservation and habitat stewardship across the Commonwealth.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory, policy, and program management - Direct all inland fisheries, wildlife, and MESA-listed species planning, regulatory and policy development, management and program implementation in the state.

Strategic Leadership & Biodiversity Conservation implementation of Executive Order No. 618 (Biodiversity Conservation in Massachusetts) by advancing the Commonwealth’s biodiversity and climate resilience goals, including 30x30 and 40x50 initiatives.

Sustainable Funding & Fiscal Stewardship

Develop and advance long-term funding strategies to support wildlife conservation, habitat restoration, and biodiversity initiatives.

Collaborate with the DFG Commissioner, Fisheries and Wildlife Board, state and federal partners, and stakeholders to advocate for sustainable funding mechanisms.

Oversee responsible fiscal management of Division resources, including license revenues, federal reimbursements, grants, and appropriations.

Public Engagement, Access & R3 Leadership

Strengthen and expand the Division’s Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation (R3) initiatives to sustain and grow participation in fishing, hunting, and shooting sports.

Promote equitable access to wildlife-based recreation. Oversee integrated approaches to wildlife population management, including regulated hunting and trapping, public education, and coordination with Problem Animal Control agents.

Partnerships, Governance & External Affairs

Lead and inspire MassWildlife staff, cultivate collaboration and accountability, and maintain strong relationships with partners, governance bodies, and the public to advance the Division’s mission.

Provide regular engagement and transparent communication with the Fisheries and Wildlife Board and other governing bodies.

Serve as principal representative of the Division with state and federal agencies, municipalities, conservation organizations, Tribal Nations, stakeholders, and the public.

Represent the Division in legislative, public, and intergovernmental forums.

Organizational Leadership & Culture

Provide clear vision, direction, and executive oversight to Division staff, fostering a culture of integrity, inclusion, accountability, scientific excellence, and collaboration.

Establish organizational priorities aligned with strategic goals and available resources.

Required Qualifications

10 years + experience leading and managing large, multi-disciplinary teams in natural resources, fisheries, or wildlife management, ensuring effective coordination of programs, field operations, and administrative functions.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in public administration, government, or nonprofit organizations, including responsibility for budget, personnel, program development, and legislative and public engagement.

Strong knowledge of fisheries and wildlife science, habitat conservation, and regulatory frameworks.

Ability to formulate a vision and strategy that will mitigate challenges and ensure the capacity of the Division to meet its mission.

Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups, members of the Board, Department leadership, and the public.

Demonstrated ability to handle complex issues, reconciling competing priorities and dissenting perspectives.

Ability to analyze and interpret technical data on fish and wildlife resources, to understand scientific reports, and to lead preparation of written program evaluations.

Demonstrated experience motivating and supervising personnel, organizing and directing programs, and creating a positive, respectful and inclusive workplace culture.

Extensive experience communicating with and influencing diverse audiences, including legislators, the media, the public, and staff, particularly on complex, high-visibility, and sensitive issues.

Demonstrated leadership experience guided by the highest ethical standards, including respect, integrity, inclusion, honesty, fairness, and transparency.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have at least (A) seven (7) years of full-time or, equivalent part-time, professional, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in business administration, business management, public administration, public management, clinical administration or clinical management of which (B) at least three (3) years must have been in a managerial capacity.

is to administer, implement, and supervise seasonal aquatics programs and staff for the
Town of Littleton at Long Lake Beach. The Aquatics Director must have the ability to work

should be able to firmly enforce all facility regulations. Works under the direction of the
Department Director and Assistant Director. They must assume high responsibility for

direction of the lifeguards, sailing staff, and snack shack attendants on shifts at the beach.

Duties

• Oversee all aspects of the lakefront aquatic facilities, ensuring safety protocols are

The Buzzards Bay Coalition is a Massachusetts non-profit organization focused on the protection, restoration and sustainable use and enjoyment of Buzzards Bay and its watershed. We are seeking a full-time Research Associate to support our water quality monitoring efforts. The in-person position will be based out of our Marion Science and Field Operations Center.

The Research Associate’s primary responsibility will be supporting the Coalition’s bay-wide water quality monitoring program, focusing on continuous loggers and data management. The position combines data management and analysis, fieldwork, lab work, and coordination of monitoring activities conducted by year-round and seasonal staff. The Research Associate will oversee and aid in deploying, retrieving, calibrating, cleaning, and maintaining continuous water quality sensors at 20+ locations around Buzzards Bay and on Martha’s Vineyard. The Research Associate will work with and oversee data management, quality assurance, and processing, including statistical analysis and data visualization. The position also supports discrete water quality monitoring, salt marsh monitoring, and a variety of rotating funded projects.
