This role is a full-time, career-track position focused on masonry/waterproofing construction estimating. The position involves reviewing drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, working with Excel and estimating software, and collaborating with vendors while working with an internal office team of 10+ people. We are a large Masonry subcontractor that works on a wide variety of projects throughout MA and RI.
We are intentionally seeking candidates from a variety of academic backgrounds. Students with strong analytical and detail-oriented skill sets tend to perform especially well in this role. We do not require prior estimating experience and are prepared to train the right individual. We are primarily looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and able to focus on computer-based work for extended periods.
