SMS Communications

Massachusetts Maritime Academy may send SMS (Short Message Service) or text messages to students and other authorized individuals who have provided prior express consent to receive such communications.

SMS messages may include, but are not limited to:

  • Enrollment and registration reminders
  • Academic notifications
  • Billing and financial reminders
  • Event notifications
  • Campus operational updates
  • Emergency notifications
  • Other essential institutional communications

SMS messages will not be used for unrelated third-party marketing.

 

Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By providing your mobile phone number through an Academy form, portal, or other enrollment process and affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
