Military & Veteran Applicants
Massachusetts Maritime Academy supports veterans, reservists and National Guard members in achieving their academic and career goals. Our veteran Admissions specialist, Joanne Robertson, has extensive experience in assisting veterans to successfully transition from the military into academics and can assist with the admissions process. We offer small class sizes, experiential hands-on learning and co-ops that lead to landing careers in the business, environmental science, engineering, marine transportation and emergency management fields.

Due to our rigorous STEM curriculum at the Academy, we require students to complete the following minimum transfer requirements:
College level English Composition with a grade of C or better
College level Science with a lab, Chemistry 1 required for Engineering majors
College level Algebra course
12 -24 transferable credits requires a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
24 or more transferable credits requires a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher
