• The client is moving into a new $300M facility in Bedford MA. This will consolidate several other locations in the area into one.
• The facilities team is in the process of preparing the existing facilities for the move and readying the new space.
• There is a significant amount of operational readiness activities still taking place and the facilities team is very involved. This includes bringing utilities online, equipment moves and set up, coordinating a significant vendor presence in the building.

The captains job would be to primarily operate the vessel to and from fishing grounds, safe handling of the vessel, ensuring safety of fellow crew members and guests for a safe and fun experience. The operator can have minimal actual assistance in fishing unless they wanted to be more involved in the charter. The greater the involvement the greater the opportunity for tipping which is typically 10-20% on the price paid for the charter split amongst crew. The rate for an operator will be between $20-$40 per hour based on experience. This is a non regularly scheduled job where some weeks could have multiple full days of work and some weeks only one or none. The Senior Maintenance Technician will provide comprehensive maintenance, repair and service for facilities, utilities, systems and equipment (FUSE) at the Framingham cGMP manufacturing facility. This is a second shift position and requires a self-starter with the ability to work independently. The Senior Maintenance Technician must be able to provide a wide range of support for both utility systems and process equipment during production activities. Shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, work hours are 2pm-12:30am (4 day, 10 hour shift). This position is based in our Framingham location.

Responsibilities:
- Routine and complex preventive maintenance and repair on a variety of process equipment, building systems, central utilities and facility components and structures in compliance with cGMP policies and procedures.
- In-depth and detailed maintenance work including installing, operating, and maintaining utility systems and equipment that support facility operations. These include HVAC systems, building management systems, chillers, boilers, emergency generators, compressed air, process gas distribution, pure water, WFI and clean steam systems.
- Support the installation, startup and maintenance of cGMP manufacturing process and support equipment, including but not limited to incubators, bioreactors, filtration equipment, filling equipment, controlled-temperature storage equipment, etc.
- Oversee outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is performed and documented in compliance with cGMP policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all in-house and vendor work activities are performed following EH&S guidelines.
- Rotating on call responsibilities to provide emergency support on an as needed basis. 

Qualifications:

Educational and training requirements:
- Massachusetts Grade II Industrial Wastewater license (Required)

Vessel Maintenance Technician

Mystic Seaport Museum owns and operates a rotating fleet of modern and traditional vessels, many of which are passenger-carrying vessels. This position will execute all vessel maintenance procedures and practices on a daily, seasonal, and long term basis for operational museum watercraft and serve as captain aboard various charter vessels

Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all engineering aspects of vessels, both modern and traditional, power and sail
- Move operational vessels along the waterfront as needed and operate vessels with passengers in accordance with state and USCG regulations
- Execute all aspects of regular vessel maintenance and preservation
- Work aloft on modern and traditionally rigged vessels dockside in a safe and competent manner to troublshoot sytems aloft or aid in up and down rigging.
- Maintain highly organized workflow while remaining flexible to ever changing priorities
- Maintain full environmental compliance, cleanliness and orderliness in all vessels
- Assist with movement or other modification of museum docks, floats, and moorings as assigned

The Rhode Island Energy Gas Control Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow rates of natural gas into the Rhode Island Energy gas distribution system to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of adequate customer supplies. This position utilizes the Gas Control Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and manual input to ensure that the system’s gas demand requirements are balanced with adequate supplies from available resources and that the gas system can be operated safely, reliably, and efficiently. This position directly reports to the Supervisor, Gas Control Operations.

The Gas Control System Operator operates and monitors the Rhode Island natural gas distribution system.
Provides oversight for the natural gas distribution system ensuring safe and reliable flows utilizing a SCADA.
Monitors daily system supply operational requirements and advises other internal departments (Gas Supply, Gas Planning, Engineering, etc.) of load and weather changes.
Communicates and coordinates field personnel to respond to SCADA Alarms.
Logs all pertinent shift activities in the Electronic Logging System.
Responsible for contacting after hours support such as Instrumentation and Regulation (I&R), SCADA Team, IT, Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), and Gas Supply Teams.
Participates in field training opportunities when available.
Recognizes and responds to emergency and abnormal operating conditions on the distribution system in a manner that protects life, limb, and property and minimizes any potential impact to the distribution system .
Maintains a working knowledge of the Gas Emergency Operating Procedures, Control Room Management plan, and facility locations using electronic GIS and facility record-keeping systems.
Monitors system gas quality to ensure compliance and reports any issues to Chief Gas Control Operator and /or Supervisor Gas Control Operations.
Confirms and dispatches natural gas supplies from physical interconnecting interstate pipeline suppliers and peak shaving facilities.
Monitors and controls gas odorization equipment to ensure proper odorization at all times of gas supplied to the distribution systems.
Follows all relevant Rhode Island Energy processes and procedures associated with the Control Room activities.
Assists in preparing and distributing daily game plan.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) years of professional experience in natural gas operations or comparable industry experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside service providers for routine CM and PM Program tasks provided under building, system, or equipment maintenance contracts. 
Support verification and maintenance with PIDs, HVAC, electrical, one-lines, and process flow diagrams (PFDs). 
Ensure all Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Program tasks are completed and documented properly according to policies and procedures.

Perform routine inspections of equipment and facility utilities to identify any issues before they become major problems, looking for signs of wear, leaks, or any abnormalities.

Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and research and development, ensuring effective communication to meet the facility’s needs. 
Troubleshoot systems to quickly identify and resolve issues. 
Monitor freezers and other critical equipment to ensure proper operation.
Maintain regular communication with the Manufacturing (MFG) team to address facility-related needs.
Replace solvent recyclers as needed to support lab processes.
Manage and supervise environmental waste in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Provide detailed shift turnover reports at the end of each night to ensure team continuity.

The RFM serves a critical role ensuring that our schools’ mechanical systems and building envelopes function properly and are in good repair, providing our students and staff with the comfortable and pleasing environment that is essential to an effective educational environment.

The Regional Facility Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of Facilities, is responsible for ensuring that each Uncommon facility meets our high standards of care.

The RFM will ensure effective and efficient day-to-day facility operations, will develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs, supervise, and manage all facility related vendors, and create and manage all facilities budgets.

The RFM should have a broad base of technical knowledge, encompassing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and an ability to think critically and troubleshoot technical problems.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is between $82,500 to $97,000.

Starting pay is determined using various factors including but not limited to relevant professional experience, education, certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools. If you meet all job description requirements you will likely receive an offer of $87,300.

About this opportunity :

The facilities services tech is responsible for performing maintenance activity including but not limited to building and grounds maintenance. Facilities services tech will assure that the buildings and grounds are in excellent condition and will promptly respond to request for services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for execution all assigned preventative maintenance tasks at the Milford, Massachusetts site.
• Responsible for performing all maintenance work using all prescribed safety procedures.
• Reviews and completes assigned corrective work orders in a timely manner.
• Schedule and assist with oversight of facilities services contractors.
• Assist with installation of equipment and write basic safety and maintenance procedures.
• Assist with maintenance or repairs on process and facilities equipment with direction from equipment technicians.
• Will be assigned to on-call rotation.
• Obtain quotes and write proposals for facility improvement projects.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High school diploma required, Associate Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• Experience working in a cGMP environment is preferred.
• Additional trainings and certifications relevant to facilities maintenance is required.
