CASTING CALL: Santa's Elves and other Polar Express Train Characters

ALSO HIRING: Parking attendants, gift shop staff, will call agents, galley crew, and cleaners, so please tell your reliable friends!

Required for Students: Letter of Recommendation or a Reference from 1 current or 2024/2025 Teacher; Completed Work Permit if 17 or younger

Please Note:
Cast must be 14 years old or older and have reliable transportation to/from Buzzards Bay
Cast must report 1.5/2 HOURS prior to Train start times and work all shifts that day
Drug and alcohol use before or during any shift is prohibited
We are looking to fill several vacant roles – so please tell your friends and family too!

Our schedule for 2025 is:

11/1 – Mandatory Safety Training and Orientation

11/8 through 11/12 – Training for onboard Cast Members

11/13 – Dry Run - rehearsal onboard the moving train

11/15 – First Responder Night / Final Dress Rehearsal

11/21 – 12/23: Polar Express Trains run, 1-2 trips per day; 3 trips per weekend day (weekday trains are after school hours)

Requirements
Qualifications:

Strong balance and coordination - Must be able to carry out duties while on a moving train
Must be 14 years or older
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent guest relations skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to work Weekends
Must remain professional at all times
