Job Description:

Starting spring/summer 2024, we will begin operating one of our helicopters at our base on Martha's Vineyard. This aircraft will conduct hoist flights to the Vineyard Wind development area comprised of 62 GE wind turbines. To accomplish the daily missions, our flight crews for Martha's Vineyard will be based in company housing adjacent to Falmouth harbor. Additionally, HeliService USA has acquired a 25' SAFE BOATS full cabin vessel. We will utilize this vessel to ferry our pilots to and from Martha's Vineyard, year-round, daily.

We are aiming to hire two captains to operate and manage the company vessel in its homeport of Falmouth harbor. We are flexible on scheduling breakdown; however, we envision two captains alternating on a 7/7 schedule. As an alternative, we would also accept 1 full time captain on either a 5/2 or 4/3 with an additional part time captain working the balance of the week.

Vessel Duties:

-Captain the vessel on its daily route- AM from Falmouth -Vineyard Haven, PM Vineyard Haven- Falmouth
-Vessel Managment- coordinate maintenance activities to not interrupt company operations
-Interface with marina on any needs, changes, documentation, winter prep
-Cleaning and refueling

Airport Duties
Aside from ferrying our pilots to and from MV, the vessel captain will also accompany our flight crew to MV airport to assist in the hangar and prepare passengers for the day's flights.

-Hangar cleaning and maintenance
-ETSO Immersion suit and lifejacket distribution and cleaning
-Assist passengers boarding aircraft
-Assist loading/unloading luggage/cargo
-Passenger check-in documentation

Requirements:
Current 6 pack license
Candidate must be based on lower Cape Cod. Ideally, the candidates will live within 10-15 minutes of Falmouth harbor.
