This position is located at Cape Cod AFS, MA. The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Civil Engineering (CE) Manager. Will assist the CE Manager with major and minor construction project management. Will update as-built drawings for all upgrades, modernization and facility projects incorporating red lined drawings. Will team with CE Manager and work centers to perform all emergency manager functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare project proposals, including cost estimates, documentation, subcontractor management/scheduling and closeout requirements.
Review, update and modify facility drawings using AutoCAD; organize drawing database, including red-line and as-built drawings, warranties and equipment specifications.
Provide engineering review and feedback on government projects and proposals.
Manage, oversee, and provide accountability for installation's real property.
Assist with the coordination of construction activities and requirements for other contracts.
Review project support agreements (PSAs) for construction, renovation and new upgrades. Facilitate work requests and coordinate work impacts and scheduling with outside contractors.
Serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for emergency and shelter management; oversee the facility emergency management program; update, implement and maintain emergency management plans.
Adhere to the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Perform other duties as required not limited to general housekeeping, safety and environmental practices, requisition parts, maintain data/logs/files, comply with security policies, complete ancillary training and participate in exercises.
Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, drafting, technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
Must have an Active Security Clearance or eligibility.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
Experience working with military and/or federal, state, or local government customer base.
