Tiverton Power LLC is seeking an experienced Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical (IC&E) Technician to join our power generation team. This is a hands-on opportunity for a skilled electrical, controls, and instrumentation professional to play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, safety, and performance. The IC&E Technician will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, DCS hardware/software, CEMS equipment, and related systems, while supporting both routine operations and outage work.
In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and control system issues, calibrate and test equipment, support continuous improvement of maintenance programs, and serve as a technical resource for plant personnel. You will work with systems such as Mark VIe, ABB Symphony Plus, MAXIMO, PI, and other plant technology tools, while also coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed. Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of electrical/electronic maintenance or instrumentation and controls experience, including 2+ years in a power plant or industrial plant setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read technical drawings and diagrams, proficiency with CMMS and computer-based tools, and a commitment to safe work practices. Preferred qualifications include a Master Electrician’s license, forklift certification, and a Rhode Island Overhead Electric Crane LTD License.
