RESPONSIBILITIES :
Do you have experience with electrical/mechanical power generation equipment, and are a high energy, self-starter, serious minded, capable of working independently and in teams? If yes, NES WES is an industry leading provider of standby and prime power electrical power generation systems. Selling and servicing power generation systems and equipment is our business. We are currently looking to add Field Service Technicians to our team. This position is responsible for providing scheduled maintenance, performing minor and major engine overhauls in the field.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
-Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
-Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment)
-Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
-Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams
-Experienced in troubleshooting, repairs and rebuild an engine.
-The ability to work well as part of a team.
-Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
-Ability to travel inclusion of some overnight travel.
-Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
-Willing to work 8-12 hours per day.
-Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
-Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
-Must be able to communicate via telephone & email.

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
-Attended a technical school
-Related military experience
-Maritime engineering background and/or experience
-Experience with reciprocating gas/diesel engines
