Job Description: Field Service Engineer III

The successful candidate will be responsible for service maintenance work on existing and new plants. The engineer will be working on a multitude of systems including the following technologies: Filtration, Ion Exchange, UV, Reverse Osmosis (RO), EDI, Ozone, WFI and Pure Steam. The engineer will be required to interface with end users and customers. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and ability to resolve issues on the spot. Most importantly the candidate must enjoy the satisfaction of maintaining equipment and take pride in their work.

Job Functions:

- Proficient and mastery on preventative and corrective maintenance on water treatment equipment including electro-mechanical repairs with replacement of parts.
- Proficient and mastery on how to perform water quality testing utilizing Hach DR900 meter, Myron L pH and conductivity, and various Hach kit tests including but not limited to hardness, pH, etc.
- Proficient and mastery on how to fill out Preventive, Quality and Maintenance Checklist (PQMC).
- Proficient and mastery on how to maintain internal documentation and submit external reports to customers.
- Proficient and mastery on how to read system documentation including but not limited to the PID, component list, spare parts list, circuit diagrams, functional logic, etc.
- Proficient and mastery on how to work with electrical control panel components including but not limited to I/O cards, PLC’s and plant automation to be able to tune loops and program instrumentation
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering professional and pro-active service at all times.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues remotely over the phone and at customer sites for both electrical and mechanical questions.
- Start-up support on new systems including completing commissioning documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, motors, etc.
Experience in system maintenance.
3-6 years experience with electrical control panels including ability to tune loops and program instrumentation.
Proficient in computers and Windows software.
Ability to work remotely and independently without supervision and be customer facing.
Must be willing to travel regionally and occasionally throughout North America.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes outside “normal business hours” and travel as required on short notice.
Ability to lift heavy objects at times and be on your feet the majority of the work day.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $97,500.00 per year
