For over 100 years, Massachusetts Maritime Academy has been preparing women and men for exciting and rewarding careers on land and sea. As the nation's finest co-ed maritime college, MMA challenges students to succeed by balancing a unique regimented lifestyle with a typical four-year college environment. As a member of the cadet corps you will live, study, sail, work and play in an atmosphere that encourages you to be your best.
General information session will be conducted virtually using Google Hangouts. As we are not able to accommodate campus visits at this time due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we hope these information sessions will allow you to learn more about the Academy and what we have to offer while following CDC guidelines. This session will be hosted by an admissions counselor and cover general information about the Academy, academics, the Regiment, and the admissions process. It is designed for high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, as well as transfer students. - If you will be applying as a transfer student, schedule your interview with our Transfer Counselor, Joanne Robertson.
- If you are in high school and will be applying as a freshman student, please use our Staff Page to determine your personal counselor based on where you currently live! You can schedule an interview with you counselor from the Staff Page.
Our Open House programs include a resource fair with representatives from various academic departments, Financial Aid, Career Services, Athletics, and more! There will also be breakout sessions where you can learn more about our unique majors. Lastly, cadet led campus tours and ship tours of the T.S. Kennedy will be available.

Sessions will be hosted by coaches and team members for the sport you are most interested in and will cover general information about the Academy, the Regiment, what it's like to be a student athlete, and the oppurtunity to ask questions of our current cadets. Fall Open House Dates:
October 12, 2020: Check-in is at 0900 in the gym.
October 31, 2020: Check-in is at 0900 in the gym.
November 21,2020: Check-in is at 0900 in the gym.
December 5, 2020 (Athletics focused – non-athletes welcome!): Check-in is at 0830 in the gym.
*Please note, MMA's campus is 100% smoke and tobacco free. All tobacco products (i.e. cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, dip, e-cigarettes, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Dogs are also not permitted on campus.
