The Special Position as Control Room Operator would be a dedicated individual who will be responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continual basis. Will respond to alarms by taking appropriate corrective actions and execute facility shut-downs and start-up procedures and assure that the plant meets its generating requirements to Municipal, Commercial, industrial and Residential customers. To qualify for this Special Position, you should have a 2nd Class Engineer MA License and be able to work 12-hour rotating shift schedule. The Facility Control Room Operator leads and directs employees also directs the operation of the facility. The CRO is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continual basis. The CRO will respond to alarms by taking appropriate actions and execute plant shut-down and start-up procedures to ensure that the Facility meets its generating requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner. To qualify candidate must have a 3rd Engineer License taking the 2nd Class Engineer Exam or have a 2nd Class Engineer License. Associate's degree in a technical field desired. Strong Leadership skills proven in past employment. Compensation has an extremely generous hourly rate + a $10,000 sign on bonus.
