Description:
Sweet Yacht Charter, a premier luxury yacht charter company based on the picturesque Nantucket Island, is seeking an experienced Stew/Stewardess, ideally with a USCG license, to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As a Stew/Stewardess, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, satisfaction, and safety of our guests aboard our luxury yachts.
Responsibilities:
Hospitality Excellence: Provide exceptional hospitality services to all guests, including attending to their needs, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring their overall comfort and enjoyment throughout the duration of the charter.
Housekeeping: Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization throughout all interior areas of the yacht, including guest cabins, salons, and common areas. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with USCG regulations and company policies. Conduct safety briefings for guests and ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the captain, crew, and other team members to coordinate daily operations and ensure seamless service delivery to guests. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for the success of our charters.
Guest Relations: Foster positive guest relations by anticipating their needs, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and courteously, and striving to exceed their expectations at every opportunity.
Requirements:
USCG License: OUPV or higher preferred will be enrolled in the USCG-compliant drug test consortium.
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as a Stew/Stewardess on luxury yachts or similar vessels.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
Availability: Flexibility to work on-call (SALARIED), 5-7 days a week, from June 1st to August 31st, including weekends and holidays.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as working in various weather conditions.
