The Specialty Control Room Operator leads and directs employees under his direction and reports results to shift supervisor. This position is responsible for monitoring the status of all facility systems on a continual basis. Will respond to alarms by taking appropriate corrective actions and execute plat shut-down and start-up procedures and ensure that the facility meets it's generating requirements while operating in a safe and environmentally efficient manner. Requirements include a MA 2nd Class Engineer License. Must be able to work overtime as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays with minimum notice.
