Clean Harbors Project Services Group is hiring Field Inspectors to support ongoing environmental remediation projects nationwide. This entry-level position is primary one of Project Manager support. Duties include field data entry, project cost tracking, waste shipment documentation, purchasing and generating various operational reports and project daily worksheets. It is also expected that the Field Inspector will conduct various non-administrative duties, including manual laboring, atmospheric monitoring, soil & groundwater sampling, etc., as required.
EXTENSIVE TRAVEL REQUIRED. Field Inspectors will deploy to project sites nationwide for 6 weeks at a time, followed by a week of paid rotation at home.
Baseline skill sets required include high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word), professional level oral and written communication skills and the ability to perform work outdoors, in varying weather conditions, potentially in OSHA level B or C PPE. A strong work ethic and high-level commitment to Health & Safety are absolutely critical.
Ideally, the candidate will have OSHA-40 Hour HAZWOPER and/or OSHA-30 Hour Construction Safety certification.
Clean driving record required, as well as the ability to pass pre-employment physical / drug test / background check.
