The primary function of the 3rd Engineer is to operate all equipment and support systems related to high pressure steam boilers, electric power generation (cogeneration), process cooling, compressed air, wastewater treatment and other systems as assigned in the department. Requires 3rd Class engineer's license. 2-3 years' experience working with high pressure boilers and related equipment. A Grade 3M or higher Municipal Wastewater License desired. Training on equipment mechanically and electrically to allow for safe inspection and repair work. Compensation to $42.50 Per Hour being a rotating shift compensation is time & half for hours over 40-hour work week. Total annual compensation is in excess of $125,000 depending on time put in. This position is a "floater" position with a rotating shift scheduled based on the needs of the team. 12-hour shifts either 6 AM - 6 PM or 6PM-6AM depending on operational needs.
