How to Apply

Graduate Studies at the Academy

The Massachusetts Maritime Academy 's Graduate Programs seek candidates from diverse professional, educational and social backgrounds who have completed undergraduate work and have earned a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. There is no admission deadline. Admissions for all graduate programs operates on a rolling schedule until approximately 24 students are enrolled.

Begin your application process by filling out the electronic application for admission.

Step 2: Send Your Resume and Statement of Purpose

Email your resume and approximately 300-word statement of your professional objectives (and how our graduate program will help you reach them) to graduate@maritime.edu.

Step 3: Have Recommendation Letters Sent

Arrange for at least two professional or academic recommendations. Your recommenders should use the official form below.

Step 4: Send Your Transcripts

Official transcripts should be sent directly from all other college/universities attended (not required for Massachusetts Maritime Academy undergraduate transcripts) to:
