Owner-operated 70’ Prestige motor yacht seeking a maritime academy cadet (deck program preferred) for the Summer 2026 cruising season.
Start: May 27, 2026 – Baltimore, Maryland
Finish: Around Labor Day – Baltimore, Maryland
Live-aboard position
Summer itinerary expected to include:
Baltimore → Falmouth, MA → Maine coast cruising → return to Falmouth → finish in Baltimore.
Cruising will primarily take place along the New England coast including Cape Cod and Maine.
Candidate Requirements
Maritime academy cadet preferred
STCW Basic Safety Training completed (required)
Interest in navigation, seamanship, and yacht operations
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Comfortable living aboard and working closely with owner-captain
Duties
Assist captain with navigation planning and bridge watch during coastal passages
Docking, line handling, and anchoring
Vessel maintenance and systems checks
Tender operations
Provisioning and trip planning
Guest support when aboard
This position offers significant hands-on vessel experience throughout the summer.
