Part-Time Data AnalystGeneral Responsibilities
This is a part-time position anticipated to work up to 30 hours per week. The work schedule will be 3-4 days per week, Monday through Friday, and will be between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. This is an on-site position with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement after a 3-6 month probationary period. This position is not benefits-eligible.
The Institutional Research Data Analyst contributes to institutional research efforts at the Academy by assisting with data extraction, interpretation, and presentation of institutional data to support strategic planning, decision making, program development, assessment of student learning, accreditation, and program review.
Responsibilities
- Assist with institutional effectiveness protocols, including surveys, focus groups, and interview projects.
- Assist with extracting, cleaning, and translating data from the campus enterprise system for state and federal reporting.
- Assist with designing and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards.
- Assist with reporting data in a variety of formats, including internal, external, and ad-hoc data requests.
- Assist with the updating of standard ongoing office publications.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in education, with a focus on institutional reporting.
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, SurveyMonkey, and/or SPSS to calculate, analyze, and report student data.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata, Tableau).
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
