A Sea Term tradition took place in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. Each year at the training ship's Florida port, Massachusetts Maritime Academy invites middle school and high school students to speak with cadets, faculty, members of the Admissions team, and representatives of the Parents Association. The Open House introduces these prospective students and their parents to all seven of the Academy's majors. Of course, a highlight of the day is always the tour of the training ship where the students get to see cadets and crew members at work.
We look forward to seeing these students at Massachusetts Maritime Academy cadets in the years to come!
