The United States Congress approved of $300 million to replace the TS Kennedy with a new training ship. Her name will be Patriot State. Our new training ship will be the second purpose-built replacement ship in a fleet of five National Security Multi-Mission Vessels (NSMV). The first vessel will go to the State University of New York Maritime College.
The beautiful new Patriot State is scheduled for delivery in 2024. She will be at the dock at Taylors Point when you are a cadet at Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
