Nantucket families came to campus on Sunday to bid farewell to their cadets departing on Sea Term 2023.
To reach campus, the families took a short ocean voyage of their own, traveling by ferry to Hyannis, Massachusetts before taking a car to campus.

1/C Paige Albertson received quite an honor when Admiral Francis McDonald, President of Massachusetts Maritime Academy asked Paige's mom if he could hold her sign. Of course, Paige couldn't resist taking a photo from the deck of the ship so that she will always remember this special sendoff.
It wasn't just family and friends on the dock cheering on 1/C Paige Albertson, students back on the island were doing so as well. Below are two photos of first graders and second graders at Nantucket Elementary School holding Paige's sign earlier in the week.
