Meet 4/C Christopher Sullivan, a Marine Engineering major from Scituate, Massachusetts. The town's name is derived from satuit, the Wampanoag term for cold brook. This recognizes a brook that runs to the town's inner harbor.

Christopher attended Jenkins Elementary School, Gates Intermediate School, and Scituate High School.

When asked how her son developed his love of the ocean, Christopher’s proud mom explained, “We live in a seaside town and spent lots of time on the Cape with family so Christopher has always been around water. He’s always enjoyed fishing, crabbing and digging at the beach. We were always around boats when Christopher was younger and his love of boating was from an early age.”

It was his dad that inspired Christopher to major in Marine Engineering.  The pair would talk about it when Christopher was in high school.

Christopher would like to give a shoutout to the first-grade students following his Sea Term from his former elementary school, Jenkins Elementary School.  He also sends some Caribbean sunshine to everyone following from Massachusetts’s South Shore including students following in schools and homeschools in Cohasset, Norwell, Marshfield, Pembroke, Duxbury, Kingston, and Plymouth.
