Meet 4/C Chloe Johnson, a Marine Engineering major from Spencer, Massachusetts, a town in Worcester County. Chloe attended Lake Street Elementary School, St. Mary's Jr. High School, and St. Paul Diocesan High School.

A chance meeting helped Chole find her way to Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Chloe worked at a retirement community in her senior year of high school. One of the residents, Pete Johnson, went to Maine Maritime Academy and had spent a career at sea. He and his wife, Audrey, really inspired and encouraged Chloe to embrace her choice of Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Marine Engineering.
Chloe’s dad is a science teacher at St. Joseph’s Middle School in Webster, Massachusetts. She is thrilled that they are participating in the Follow The Voyage-Share The Experience Program. Chloe hopes that some of his sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students will be inspired to pursue a career at sea. Chloe also sends a high-five to all of the students following from religious-based schools including Bishop Connolly High School in Fall River, St. John Paul II School Preparatory Division in Hyannis, and St. Joseph Middle School in Webster - all in Massachusetts. Also, Mobile Christian School in Mobile, Alabama, Cathedral Of St. Raymond in Jolliet, Illinois, Omar Haikal Islamic Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada, St. Peter School in Warwick, Rhode Island, and Christ The Ling School in Burlington, Vermont.
