As a CBRE FM Engineering Ops Manager, you will help manage the team responsible for providing technical and operational support to the account staff. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other team members.

This role involves overseeing maintenance operations, optimizing systems performance, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do
* Recommend and implement ongoing improvements to preventive maintenance programs.
* Maintain comprehensive building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals.
* Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel, and technicians.
* Lead all aspects of building systems, including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical management; stay updated on the latest HVAC technology trends
* Maintain continuous communication with clients, owners, facility management teams, and vendors.
* Assist in the solicitation and acquisition of new management contracts.
* Respond promptly to emergency situations (fires, evacuations, equipment failures) and address customer concerns.
* Implement and administer inventory control programs; purchase parts and supplies as needed.
* Develop specifications and assist in soliciting and administering maintenance/repair service contracts.
* Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, government agencies, and company directives regarding building operations.
