Reinauer Transportation Companies, LLC in New York, NY. Mates will be responsible for collaborating with the vessel's captain to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of cargo, managing the vessel's deck crew, and maintaining the vessel's physical plant and equipment.

Qualifications
• A valid US Coast Guard license as Master or Mate.
• Excellent navigational and seamanship skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Understanding of vessel maintenance and repair procedures
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
• Experience moving Petroleum products.
• 200-ton license.
• STCW.
• Compensation is based on Union scale.

Work Schedule: (Even Time - two weeks on/two weeks off on a consistent basis)
