1. Bachelor's degree preferred (ideally in safety and health. 2 years OSHA experience with Health & Safety experience in Gas Turbine, Trash to Energy or Co-Generation Facility.

2. OSHA experience to include knowledge of operations, personnel safety, and maintenance in a Gas Turbine, Trash to Energy or Co-Generational Facility.

3. Working knowledge or exposure working with OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations, VPP or related state health and safety regulations in a Gas Turbine, Trash to Energy or Co-Generation Facility.

4. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.

5. Salary depends on experience as the range goes up to $170,000 + Generous Benefit Package.

6. This position is a day's Monday-Friday. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays may be require if the circumstances present themselves.

The primary function of the Third Engineer is to operate all equipment and support systems related to high pressure steam boilers, electric power generation, process cooling, compressed air, wastewater treatment and other systems as assigned by Plant Manager. Salary in excess of $100,000 + Bonus + Generous Benefit Package. Key responsivities are to operate, monitor and inspect high pressure steam boilers and all associated auxiliary equipment including pumps, valves, transmitters gauges and safety devices.
