Operations Supervisor

About the Opportunity:

The Operations Supervisor assists in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of vessels while ensuring the highest level of guest service. Ensuring each vessel operates according to tasking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Able to work a flexible schedule to support coverage of vessel operations.
Adheres to service contracts reporting policy as stated in Operations Manual.
Ensures the safety and security of vessels and facility using visual observation while conducting walk-throughs and reporting any unusual occurrences to Operations Manager and upper management.
Mitigate and manage hazards and incidents with passengers or crew, vessels, or facility until emergency services arrive and/or Operations Manager or Port Director arrives.
Assist the Operations Manager with creating crew schedules.
Able and willing to act as crew, ticket or galley staff as required.
Distributes and collects banks, including tickets, corresponding receipts, and all relevant documentation.
Distributes daily tasking sheets and vessel assignments.
Inspect vessels, ticket booths, dock, terminal, and the area surrounding the terminal for safety concerns and
Works collaboratively with guests to resolve guest issues and report issues to Operations Managers.
Assists Operations Managers with crew training and record keeping.
Ensures that vessels, offices, storage areas, and facility gates are locked and secured at the end of the night.
Assists with the overall general maintenance of vessels, dock, and terminal.
Ensures policies are followed in accordance with the policy handbook and bulletin updates.
Additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Have or be eligible to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
Have or be eligible to obtain a USCG 100Ton License Preferred.
Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
High school degree or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential.
A self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with some experience managing a team.
Highly efficient team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
Process and quality-oriented with sharp attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Will be required to be available for work weekends, nights, and all major holidays.
