Marina Yard Help

Bridge Marina/ Ring’s Island Marina located in Salisbury, MA is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Marina Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical fitness, and a passion for the marine environment. Responsibilities include handling boats, maintaining the yard, and assisting with repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with launching and hauling boats using specialized equipment.
• Secure vessels in storage areas and on docks.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the marina yard, docks, and facilities.
• Assist with boat preparation for storage and winterization.
• Conduct general repairs and maintenance on marina equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and manage dock lines, fenders, and other mooring equipment.
• Assist with fueling operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service to marina clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by marina management.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a marina or similar environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of boat handling and marina operations.
• Ability to operate marina equipment, such as forklifts, travel lifts, and power tools.
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and forklift certification are a bonus.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
