The Emery Rice Endowed Scholarship Program reflects the Academy’s mission to prepare students to lead with integrity, purpose, and civic responsibility. Scholars are selected competitively for academic excellence, leadership promise, and service, as incoming freshmen and continue to receive the scholarship annually by maintaining required academic criteria.
The Opportunity
Sustaining academic excellence in perpetuity
Massachusetts Maritime Academy will endow the Emery Rice Scholarship Program for $5Million by the end of 2029, to provide five new scholarships per year in perpetuity, for a total of up to 20 scholarships each year.
