Writing Across the Curriculum

The Writing Across the Curriculum Program at the Academy supports cadets with their communication needs. Whether preparing for the discipline-specific demands of the workplace or further developing the critical writing, reading, and thinking skills that align with MMA’s Student Learning Outcomes, WAC at MMA positions cadets to graduate confident in their ability to engage in any communication situation.

Working individual with faculty and departments to integrate appropriate writing pedagogy, WAC supports assignment design, low stakes writing, peer review, rubric development, and other approaches that both reinforce content as well as prepare students for professional communication.
