Shift Supervisor is responsible for Facility Operation during the shift. Shift Supervisor is required to make routine tours of the plant and oversee the work of the operators on their shift. In the event of emergencies or unusual operations the shift supervisor will direct staff to perform required operation to keep facility operating at full capacity. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the technical training of all personnel on their assigned shift. Position requires a 2nd Class Engineer license and the ability to work a DuPont rotating shift schedule. Salary depends on experience and has a very generous bonus and family benefit package. Qualified candidates should have 3 years power plant operations experience. Detailed knowledge of Power Plant equipment, operating procedures and standards to properly maintain and enforce efficient Facility Operations. Communication skills, leadership abilities and problem solving/decision skills. Able to maintain special licenses including a 2nd Class Engineer License. 2nd Class Engineer. In Charge of 220lb steam plant. 270,000sq ft Production Facility. In charge of day to day operations and repairs to steam hydraulics and compressed air systems.
Also staffing, ordering parts and consumables, and maintaining an inventory. Up to 8 Fireman standing watch on 24/7 rotating shifts.
