As Director, IT Maritime Systems, you are an innovative and decisive leader who excels in dynamic, high-pressure environments. Combining deep technical expertise with strong communication and relationship-building skills, you create collaboration across teams and vendors while guiding your staff toward growth and success. You remain composed during critical situations, proactively streamline processes, and leverage emerging technologies to improve efficiency, safety, and overall performance. With keen analytical insight and sound financial judgment, you optimize resources and deliver results that align technology with organizational priorities.

What you will do:

Lead and mentor the IT Maritime Team, fostering collaboration, guiding professional growth, and serving as the escalation point for critical issues.
Oversee daily IT operations for maritime systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance across terminals.
Drive innovation and process improvements by implementing automation, standardizing procedures, and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Manage budgets and resources strategically, balancing operational needs with long-term initiatives while building strong partnerships with stakeholders and vendors.
What you offer:

Bachelors degree or equivalent IT experience, with knowledge of Maritime IT systems and operations.
7+ years directly managing operational staff in a Maritime environment.
5-7 years in with expertise in Terminal Operating Systems, Crane Management systems, networking concepts, and diagnostic skills.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or technical specializations, plus proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and interpreting technical drawings and floor plans.
