General Manager Marine Terminal – Bulk Cargoes
Lake Charles, LA
I am looking for a marine terminal professional with bulk cargo experience. This position will involve operations, sales, and marketing for the terminal. This will cover cargo operations – vessel, rail and truck, labor relations, client relations, and general management. Ideally you will be a solid operator and very comfortable developing and managing client relations and selling services.
Ideally you’ll have:
Bachelors Degree
10 plus years of experience in bulk terminal operations – required
Leadership and management experience in a marine terminal environment
Experience with vessel and rail cargo operations
Must be able to say no when needed and have the ability to get to yes as often as possible
Comfortable wearing many hats and leading an active and diverse operation
Safety conscious management style required
Comfortable and experienced developing and managing client relationships
Must be a team player able to work with senior management, staff, and labor
