Account Manager- Houston, hybrid
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Account Manager with a strong background in the upstream oil and gas sector to join our team. This role focuses on managing and growing client relationships, promoting fuel treatment products, and delivering technical solutions that enhance fuel quality and equipment performance in upstream operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of upstream oil and gas clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Identify new business opportunities and drive growth within assigned territory or accounts
Provide technical consultation and support to clients on fuel treatment products and applications
Collaborate with internal technical and R&D teams to tailor solutions to client needs
Develop and present proposals, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates for management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related technical field (preferred)
3+ years of experience in account management or technical sales in the fuel treatment or oilfield services industry
Strong knowledge of upstream oil and gas operations, including drilling, production, and well services
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel to client sites as required
