Vice President of Facilities Maintenance and Construction Management
We are searching for a Vice President of Facilities Maintenance and Construction Management who wants to be part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of others.
In this vital position, the Vice President of Facilities Maintenance and Construction Management is responsible for providing direction, planning, and oversight for the maintenance of high quality owned and leased properties, some of which operate on a 24/7 basis, keeping with company policies and standards.
The Vice President of Facilities Maintenance and Construction Management will:
Manage facilities staff and related contractors which will include deployment of staff for work order fulfillment, supervising, and managing critical facilities incidents and emergent situations; these may need to be handled outside of the standard workday
Provide oversight, maintenance, and repair of all facilities in keeping with applicable state and local building regulations and codes as well as service program regulations
Provide comprehensive annual inspections of all facilities
Ensure that all outside/contracted services are properly completed in accordance with required specifications
Develop/maintain relationships with internal/external customers, municipal and state officials and contractors
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
Prepare ongoing reports related to facilities
Provide occasional direct maintenance and repair as needed
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
Pay Range: $125,000 to $135,000/salaried, based on experience

Required Skills
Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle are required; Commercial Driver’s License is a plus
Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Must be highly detail-oriented and an excellent problem solver
Must provide excellent internal and external customer service and be able to manage vendor/contractor relationships.
Must be able to read, interpret and follow blueprints, mechanical and electrical engineering, drawings, schematics and specifications including installation and maintenance requirements
Basic computer fluency, including using Microsoft Office applications to track facilities projects
Familiarity with community based behavioral health and human services preferred
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma and extensive facilities management experience
Minimum of five years of supervisory experience
Minimum of seven years of experience in facilities and maintenance management
Previous experience managing the day-to-day planning of capital construction and renovation projects
Previous experience managing the completion of all projects within budget, on schedule with a high standard of quality
