Seeking an experienced marine technician to join our yacht company based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Company vehicles are provided.
Typical Pay Range (Based on skills/experience): $30-$60/hr
Schedule & Benefits:
Monday through Friday starting at 8am
8-hour work days excluding lunch time
40 hours per week
Overtime is paid 1.5 times the standard hourly rate
401k with 3% salary company contribution

Training
Preferred Skills & Experience:
5 years experience in the Marine Electrical field
ABYC Electrical Certification, Manufacturer Specific Trainings / certifications
Strong troubleshooting skills, and electrical theoretical knowledge and calculations
Must have and understand how to use power and hand tools
Ability to understand and produce electrical drawings
Personable and able to communicate with customers and co-workers
Physically fit and able to work in tight spaces onboard vessels
Proficient with the use of computers
Familiar with general marine installation and wiring practices such as understanding best hardware mounting
practices, waterproofing, termination methods, chafe protection, circuit protection, cleanliness
Types of jobs typically performed:
Repair and installation of power supply and distribution systems (AC & DC)
Repair and installation of power conversion equipment as well as inverters and frequency drives
General troubleshooting and repair of various equipment’s power supplies
