Known for exceptional service, fast turnaround times, and getting the job done right the first time, our client has expanded far beyond its origins in oil tank removal and installation. Their services now include HVAC installation and service, oil remediation, removal of tanks, furnaces, water heaters, and boilers, as well as demolition, excavation, and more.
As part of their ongoing growth—most recently with expansion into Northern New England and a new location in Epsom, NH—they are building out our HVAC division and seeking a strong leader to guide this next phase.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Manager, HVAC Installations & Service will lead and grow our client’s HVAC division. This role begins with one direct report (HVAC Engineer) and dotted-line oversight of a Supervisor/Boiler Technician, with a clear mandate to build a high-performing team.
This is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving safety, quality, consistency, efficiency, and profitability across all HVAC operations. The Manager will oversee a wide range of activities including sales, supplier management, permitting, compliance, emergency response, and relationship management with customers, utilities, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
The successful candidate will bring strong business acumen, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple projects while fostering a culture committed to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and grow the HVAC division with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability.
• Oversee HVAC installations, service operations, emergency response, sales, and customer relations.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with all state, local, and industry regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service offerings, reduce costs, and support company expansion.
• Build strong relationships with energy companies, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze operational data and make strategic decisions to optimize performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for team members.
• Ensure adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Support permitting processes and compliance documentation.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in HVAC installation, service, maintenance, or operations.
• Proven expertise across all major aspects of HVAC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with negotiations, vendor management, and customer relations.
• Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and passion for team development.
• Nice to have - relevant HVAC-related license (Boiler, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, GC, etc.) in MA, RI, or NH.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
