Assigned Chief Engineer rating under CFR 46 with STCW endorsement. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Assigned as Project Manager (PM). Oversee the contracted maintenance and repairs conducted on the vessel. The Chief Engineer/PM manages a small select team to ensure that all contracted maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and to its entirety. Must have a Class 1 Certificate of Competency – Marine Chief Engineer. Experience in HM&E equipment and systems as well as experience in the naval vessel maintenance and repair industry. Experienced in the coordination of technical personnel and management of subcontractors including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), riggers, crane operators, transportation, and industrial marine trades. U.S. Citizenship required. Must be proficient in any software associated with marine engineering.
