Mikayla Correia ’18, MSFM ’20 has served as Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator at Massachusetts Maritime Academy since September 2019. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating recruitment initiatives for the Academy’s women’s athletics programs, overseeing special event planning, and supporting departmental fundraising efforts.
In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Correia also serves as Head Coach of the Buccaneer women’s lacrosse team, where she continues to develop and lead the program.

Ms. Doherty grew up working on her father's commercial lobster boat out of Sagamore and was drawn to Massachusetts Maritime Academy because of its unique mission. Ms. Doherty has been working in the Academic Resource Center since 2023. In her free time she enjoys reading, yoga, running and camping.
