General Statement of Duties:  The Women’s Crew Coach should possess the ability to effectively communicate and motivate student-athletes, as well as manage team dynamics.  Additionally, the Women’s Crew coach to work with our female athletes in the coming academic year. This is a part time position. Duties involve conducting daily practices, helping to develop positive team dynamics and providing leadership to rowers during competitions.

We anticipate a great group of both incoming and returning team members and want to bring on board talented instructors who will challenge these student-athletes to succeed as they manage a truly exceptional collegiate environment. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a good knowledge of effective training practices and the flexibility to adjust as necessary. This position requires long hours, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy
  • Coaching experience
  • Recruiting experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of the unique mission of a maritime academy
