Part Time:

A student who has less than 12-credits in a semester will be designated as a part time student. A part time student is not allowed to be a member of the regiment of cadets, participate in varsity athletics, and will be billed on a per credit basis.

Note: Applicants to MMA are accepted as a Regimental Cadet and may select any major. Participation in the Regimental Program, will remain a requirement for continued enrollment. Cadets who request to move from Regimental to Commuting status must resign from the Academy and re-apply as a commuter in a non-licensure program, and meet any requirements for that program.

Non-Regimental Commuter students will not be allowed to wear or graduate in uniform as a Regimental cadet.

Students desiring to leave the Regiment shall not have any pending discipline issues and must have completed all extra duty/restriction obligations. All other obligations (assigned watches, shipboard maintenance, etc.) must also be fulfilled.
