What is the Senior Class Campaign?  
It is an opportunity for the Class of 2019 to give back to MMA as they do to other nonprofits that they feel passionately about.  This year the senior class is raising money to endow the Cadet Emergency Fund  The goal is for the class to reach 50% participation and raise at least $5,000 and when they reach this goal Jim Callan "Bookstore Jim" will jump into Buzzards Bay and the MMA Foundation Board will match the $5,000 they raise.  The senior class cadets are the only ones who count for participation (so mobilize your classmates!) but anyone can make a gift to the campaign and help the Class of 2019 reach its goal!  As part of the campaign we also have events that will help you navigate life after graduation from business etiquette to managing finances and from buying your first house to learning everything you wanted to know about Human Resources.  A full list of events will be available at the start of Spring Semester.

How do you participate?  You can make your best gift online at maritime.edu/giving (but make sure to indicate that it is for the Senior Class Campaign) and most importantly remind your friends in the Class of 2019.  And think about inviting your faculty, staff, friends, and family to join you and make their best gift too!  Members of the class who give $20.19 or more will receive a commemorative glass, personalized with the 2019 Senior Class Campaign Logo. Members of the Class of 2019 who make a gift under $20.19 will be able to sign the class banner that will be displayed at future reunions and in the Mess Deck at the end of the year.  Make sure to make your best gift and join our page to help spread the word and stay up-to-date about the campaign!
