Requesting a Change of Major

Q:  How do I request a Change of Major when we are participating in Distance Learning?

A: If you are able to print out the Request to Change Majors Form and email it to the appropriate Deparment Chair you can process your request through email.  If you are unable to print and scan in the document feel free email registrar@maritime.edu and we can assist you wtih the change of major process.

 

Current students who would like to request a change of major should complete the Request to Change Majors Form and have it signed by the Department Chairs of their current major and the major they want to join. The Registrar's Office and Department Chair will review the request based on space in the new major and GPA.

Accepted/deposited students who would like to request a change of major should email Josh Tefft, Director of Admissions at jtefft@maritime.edu.
