Coverage Description
Maximum Benefit per Injury or Sickness: at least $250,000
Accidental Death and Dismemberment: at least $10,000
Medical Evacuation Coverage Maximum Lifetime Benefit: at least $100,000
Emergency Medical Reunion: At least $1,500
Repatriation of Remains: at least $50,000
Security Evacuation: at least $100,000 (provides coverage in the event of: Natural Disasters, Political or Military events, Physical Attacks or Threats, Expulsion form Host Country and Kidnapped or Missing Persons.)

Before You Leave the U.S.

  • Check your passport and entry requirements (visa)
  • Share information with your family regarding your trip
  • If it applies to your program or health, schedule travel health exam and obtain proper vaccinations
  • Contact bank(s) and credit card company(ies)
  • Make copies of important documents
    • Make paper copies, as well as electronic scans, of your
      important documents (passport, visa, and travel itinerary, etc.). Keep
      these in a safe place, leaving one copy in the U.S. and email yourself
      the electronic scans.
