Support the Academy on #GivingTuesday
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Today is the fourth #GivingTuesday that MMA will participate in and we hope you will consider supporting the Academy family to help us reach our 2017 goal of $20,000 and 126 gifts (in honor of our 126th year)! Last year we launched The Rising Tide Campaign with a goal of raising $50 million in 10 years to help increase our endowment, support capital improvements and increase the number of scholarships awarded, to make sure that our current and future cadets have the tools necessary to achieve their dreams.
This year we follow our new mascot, Captain Buc, as he arrives on campus and experiences many of the things that our cadets do after they get accepted to the Academy. We share the day-in-a-life of Captain Buc to remind you just how hard our cadets work - in the classroom and as members of our esteemed Regiment of Cadets.
As you kick off the holiday season please remember that as the Academy continues to grow, we need the help of our MMA family. Please consider supporting the Academy to help every cadet on campus. Thank you for your continued generosity and support of MMA and we wish you a wonderful Holiday Season.
